Our next The Buyers Club meet up networking event is in London and we’d love you to join us!

Retail buying can be such a brilliant career, but it can also be full-on. Our events are designed as a relaxed and welcoming space to meet people who truly understand the role, a place to share experiences, swap ideas and build meaningful connections with fellow buyers.

At our London meetup last week, every guest left with a goody bag - just as they did in Edinburgh.

Because one thing we know about Buyers is that we love a little something…!

And here’s the thing about getting a product in front of a buyer: it doesn’t need to be a hard sell. It doesn’t need to be a pitch deck or a meeting request. Sometimes it just needs to be in their hands, at the right moment, letting them fall in love with it themselves. That’s exactly what a goody bag does. And we’re already thinking about what Manchester has in store...

Honest confession - the idea of walking into a room full of strangers used to terrify us.

We’d hear about events where you just... show up and talk to people you’ve never met, and we couldn’t think of anything worse.

Then we actually went to one. And it was actually fine. More than fine!

One of the biggest things we kept coming back to when building the club was this…

Buying is a role where you’re constantly learning, but rarely given the space or tools to actually develop.

So we wanted to change that.

Inside the club, our Learning & Development space is designed to support you at every stage, whether you’re just starting out or years into your career.

✨ A career clinic with honest advice and support
✨ Monthly updates on what everyone’s really talking about (the useful kind of industry “goss”)
✨ And a limited number of 1:1 sessions with us each month

It’s everything we wish we had, all in one place.

And honestly, it’s just the beginning.

Why did we create our networking events?

Because we felt there was something missing.

A space in our industry that felt open, welcoming, and genuinely enjoyable to be part of.

So many events can feel a bit formal or forced - but we wanted to create something different.
More relaxed.
More like real conversations with people who understand what you do.

A place to share ideas, meet like-minded people and leave feeling energised (not drained).
